Question 1

Hvordan aktiverer og bruger jeg det elektriske bakgearssæt?

Accepted Answer

The bike must be running and in neutral. Pinch the clutch and release it immediately, then press and hold the start button. The bike will smoothly move backwards. To exit reverse, release the start button and shift into forward gear.

Question 2

Hvilke Harley-Davidson-modeller er kompatible med Eagle King Reverse Kit?

Accepted Answer

The Eagle King Reverse Kit is compatible with Harley-Davidson Touring models from 2014 to 2026, including Road Glide, Street Glide, Ultra Limited, Electra Glide, Road King, and Tri Glide. It is also fully compatible with CVO editions of these models.

Question 3

Hvorfor skal jeg vælge Eagle King Reverse Kit i stedet for et billigere alternativ?

Accepted Answer

The Eagle King Reverse Kit is built for reliability, precision engineering, and long-term durability. It uses a high-power brushless motor, requires no drilling, and can be transferred to another bike in the future. It is an investment in your Harley's performance and safety, not just an accessory.

Question 4

Is the Eagle King Reverse Kit the same as the original Harley-Davidson Trike electric reverse gear?

Accepted Answer

No. The Eagle King Reverse Kit uses a high-power brushless motor, which has no wear-prone brushes, offers precise torque control in real time, and ensures smooth reversing even on inclines. The original Harley-Davidson Trike reverse uses a carbon brush motor prone to wear, overheating, and motor failure.

Question 5

Er installationsprocessen kompliceret?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. The Eagle King Reverse Kit is plug-and-play with no drilling or permanent modifications required. Most riders complete installation in under one hour. Video tutorials are available at eaglekingtech.com/technical-guide and full installation support is included.

Question 6

Bortfalder Harley-Davidson-garantien, hvis man installerer kittet?

Accepted Answer

No. The kit is 100% plug-and-play and non-invasive, so it will not affect your factory warranty. It can also be easily removed and reinstalled on a different motorcycle.

Question 7

Vil bakgearssættet forstyrre oliekontrol og -skift?

Accepted Answer

No. Both oil fill points remain fully accessible with the kit installed. This was specifically considered during the design process.

Question 8

Bruger systemet den originale startmotor til at bakke cyklen?

Accepted Answer

No. The reverse kit uses an additional high-power brushless motor, not the starter motor. It connects to the diagnostic interface via a data cable to analyze vehicle data in real time and prevent misoperation.

Question 9

Kan en modificeret udstødning påvirke installationen?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a modified exhaust can affect installation if it blocks the mounting area. You may need to reinstall the original exhaust. If unsure, send a photo of your exhaust setup to contact@eaglekingtech.com or call (302) 208-6923 before purchasing.

Question 10

Do I need to remove my leg-mounted fan to install the reverse kit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, any leg-mounted fan must be removed as it occupies the same space as the reverse kit. An optional adapted Leg Cooling Fan is available and recommended for better heat management.
